The Grand County Council this week approved the appointment of Brian Parkin, owner of Moab Art Works, to the Moab Area Travel Council Advisory Board. The council's vote was unanimous. Council member Bob Greenberg expressed his approval of the appointment, stating that the arts are "the future of tourism" in Grand County.
