Brian Parkin of Moab Art Works will offer a short course in Still Film Photography this December. Three classes will cover Film Cameras, Film types and their development, and Prints from film images. The class is suitable for anyone who shoots film and each two hour class will feature demonstrations and examples. The cost is $30 per person for the series of three classes and is limited to six people. Students will understand their cameras more fully and be able to make better images with more consistency. Built in 1954, the Uranium Building is a survivor of Moab's atomic era, and originally served as offices for United Uranium Co., Spanish Valley Exploration & Mining Co. and Cal Uranium Co. Today the building houses a number of arts and photo-based businesses, including Concierge 360, Travis Kelly Graphics, Attatude Tattoo, Canyon Color Graphics and Sandi Snead Studios.
