Sandstone
Symphony Patrick Paul René Shown March 2007 Moab Art Works presents "Sandstone Symphony", new photographs from Patrick Paul René. These subtle landscape images reveal an intimate understanding of the nuances of light found on the Colorado Plateau. |

| Patrick
Paul René was born 1964 in Roussillon, France - a little
town
of
the Dauphiné region. His interest in photography
began on
his first visit to the Southwest in the early 1980s. It was
the
wild desert beauty, enchantment and grandeur within the Colorado
Plateau that captured his imagination. By the early 1990s Patrick was
visiting the region annually to savor the pristine solitude it
offered. It was this isolation that unleashed his creativity
for
the works we see today. Patrick views his photography as works of art
using a camera and lens as his paintbrush and easel. He
produces
strong, powerful images that evoke an emotional response in himself and
his audience. His intuition and imagination continue to guide
him
in bringing the depth of mood and beauty that is ever present in his
work. Patrick Paul René Photography Show reviewed in "15 Bytes" ezine "Sandstone Symphony" Reviewed Moab Happenings Artist of the Month by Annabelle Numaguchi |
